Established in 1988 by Pamela Herring, N.D., the Naturopathic Clinic of Concord brought Naturopathic Medicine and Classical Homeopathic Medicine to the New Hampshire’s capitol city.

More and more people are using naturopathic medicine because it is truly patient-centered care. We take the time to listen to you and all of your health concerns. The treatments used are safe and effective, helping your body to heal gently and free of harsh side effects. Naturopathic medicine can successfully treat many acute and chronic diseases.

About Us

Dr Pamela

Pamela J. Herring, ND, DHANP

Dr. Herring began her health care career with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education at Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts and as a Peace Corps volunteer in a healthcare project in Paraiba, Brazil. She is married and has three grown children, four step-children and seven grandchildren.

In 1988 Dr. Herring completed her doctorate from Bastyr University in Seattle and then moved to New Hampshire to begin her practice. As president of the New Hampshire Association of Naturopathic Doctors she helped to carry forward the process of attaining licensure for Naturopathic Doctors in New Hampshire. From 1995 to 2000 she served on the New Hampshire Board of Naturopathic Examiners, the Governor’s appointed board for regulation of Naturopathic Doctors.  In 1996, Dr. Herring was presented with the Presidents Award from the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) for her outstanding work in advancing the profession.

Dr. Herring is certified as a Classical Homeopath by two organizations: the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (DHANP), which credentials Homeopathic medicine within the naturopathic profession, and the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CCH) which is a competency certification that encompasses all types of healthcare providers who practice homeopathy, such as medical doctors, chiropractors, and naturopathic doctors.

Dr. Herring is a frequent speaker at conferences, hospitals, and schools; she has appeared on Concord Hospital Healthline and WMUR, and has been a guest speaker on New Hampshire Public Radio on several occasions.

Dr Nicole

Nicole A. Taylor, ND

Dr. Nicole A. Taylor is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Educator. After graduating from Northern Arizona University in 2001, with a degree in secondary education, she taught high school physical education, life skills, health and dance. During an internship at Canyon Ranch Health Resort in Tucson, AZ, she discovered her love of Naturopathic Medicine and decided to make a career change and go back to school. After graduating from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Taylor completed a residency in General Family Medicine where she supervised, coordinated and managed the clinic environment working closely with patients and overseeing the work of student doctors.

Using a blend of alternative, holistic and conventional approaches, Dr. Taylor enjoys treating the whole family, but has a specialized focus in Women's Health, Dermatology and Autoimmune conditions.

Dr. Taylor treats each person as an individual with compassion, understanding and support. She believes that the path to optimum wellness is through balancing the mind, body and spirit.

 Dr Justin

Justin Taylor, ND

Dr. Justin Taylor, ND has joined the Naturopathic Clinic of Concord as a resident Naturopathic Doctor. After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree at Eastern Michigan University in 1995, Dr. Taylor spent 10 years in the advertising, marketing and web design industry and worked part time in group homes caring for brain injured and developmentally disabled patients. While working in group homes, Dr. Taylor decided to devote his life to the healing profession and so he left his first career behind to embark on his study of Naturopathic Medicine. Starting at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in the fall of 2005, Dr. Taylor immediately found his place. He piloted Southwest College's student mentorship program and was the first mentored student of Dr. Mona Morstein, ND. While being mentored, Dr. Taylor focused on Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Mood Disorders. He has been published in the "Townsend Newsletter", has been featured on the PBS series for Naturopathic Medicine and was the guest speaker on the "Good Morning Scottsdale" show discussing Naturopathic medicine.

Dr. Taylor enjoys treating the whole family with a special focus in Endocrinology, Mood disorders and Men's health.

Dr. Taylor believes in the body's innate ability to heal itself and assists by using a blend of alternative, holistic and conventional approaches.

Kelly

Kelly Giard, B.SC., Nutritionist and Lifestyle Education Consultant

The Naturopathic Clinic of Concord welcomed Kelly in July 2006. Our clients love her warm smile and gentle demeanor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and has worked in the field of health and wellness for over 10 years. Ms. Giard received a B.Sc. in Nutrition at Keene State College. She has worked for the state of New Hampshire in the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program and the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. She is also a practitioner of Reiki I and Reiki II.

Assisting Dr. Herring, Ms. Giard provides patient education, nutrition consultations and health assessments and Reiki treatments. She manages and instructs The Cleanse, a therapeutic lifestyle and weight management program, as well as offering individualized nutritional counseling.

Kelly has an interest in "Nia" (a mind, body, spirit movement therapy) and other active pursuits. Kelly also co-chairs the local chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation, Nourishing Lifestyles.

Ami Sarasvati, B.SC., Wellness Coordinator

Ami is a natural health consultant and whole foods educator. Her educational background includes St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH, Simmons College in Boston, Boston University also in Boston, and San Jose State University. She is certified in a variety of group exercise classes including Yoga and Qigong, Tai Chi for Arthritis, strength training as well as being a personal trainer. Since 1998, Ami has been a fitness professional and a director at several health clubs and is a Juice Plus Distributor.

She holds a certification in Sports Nutrition and has studied at the Kushi Institute for Macrobiotics in Becket, MA as well as blood type diets. Ami is a Reiki Master and teaches all levels of Reiki.

Her lifelong passion for natural health will surely inspire you to take a compassionate look at your own life and see how you can embrace a healthier lifestyle for yourself and your world.
